Favorite Blogs

As a food blogger, I draw inspiration not only from all the wonderful food around me, but from the work of other bloggers. I follow wayyy too many blogs, to be honest. My email inbox piles up every day with countless blogs to read, and I often have so many emails that I just wait until the weekend and read them all at once! All the same, I get a little burst of excitement from each notification that I get. So, I want to share the love and excitement. Here are a few of my all-time favorite blogs for you to explore and enjoy.

http://www.loveandlemons.com: This blog is one of my more recent follows, and I can’t get enough. Love and Lemons is a mostly vegetarian blog with very visually appetizing pictures, delicious and simple recipes, and short, sweet, to the point personal anecdotes which seamlessly relate to the recipes.

https://www.brit.co: Brit+Co is a blog which gives ideas for not only food, but everything from D.I.Y. to Halloween costumes to home decor to fashion. She also sells a ton of adorable accessories and projects which I am dying to buy! Also, check out this inspiring video about creativity from the blog- https://www.brit.co/i-am-creative/ . It’s definitely worth the watch.

http://hellonatural.co: Hello Natural is a blog which encourages a healthy lifestyle in all aspects of life. They give great recipes for delicious healthy meals and snacks as well as many D.I.Y. beauty products and scrubs to enhance your natural beauty.

http://pinchofyum.com: Lindsay, the author of Pinch of Yum is so quirky and fun that it’s impossible not to be entertained by her blog. She doesn’t hesitate to speak in ALL CAPS or use fun words like “smooshed” and “favoritest”, keeping me laughing while reading her yummy recipes.

http://smittenkitchen.com: Smitten Kitchen is definitely one of my favorite blogs! They create delicious and inventive recipes that I make all the time. Check out their beautiful cookbook as well!! http://smittenkitchen.com/book/ . The recipes are superb. (My favorite so far is the Kale and Wild Rice Gratin)!

http://joythebaker.com: This blog is filled with delectible desserts among other yummy food recipes. Every recipe is gorgeous and creative, and Joy has a charming writing style which is truly a joy to read!

Enjoy!  🙂 Love, The Perky Foodie
